Schooner Sales began in 1994 as Leruss Enterprises when John Russell bought a franchise that specialized in internal foundation repairs.
In 1999, Leruss dropped its foundation repair franchise and in 2000, became Schooner Foundation Repairs Limited. Though Schooner still specialized in foundation repairs, it started to increasingly focus on more traditional concrete restoration work.
In 2005, Schooner was introduced to Urban Restoration Inc. Urban was the North American marketing and manufacturing arm of a product line called The World’s Best Graffiti Repair System. Schooner brought the World’s Best line to Canada in 2007. After a year of using the products, Schooner was approached to represent World’s Best in Canada. They were pleased and honoured to do so.
On March 1, 2009, John sold his contracting business and registered a ‘new’ business called Schooner Sales. Schooner Sales is an independent Canadian business focused on finding and supplying the Canadian marketplace with world class graffiti control products.
Today, Schooner sells and distributes graffiti control products to more that 30 cities across Canada, as well as numerous schools boards and community based service organizations. It has developed a national network of graffiti control and conventional contractors, business and property owners, managers and end-users regularly using its products.
Schooner Sales continues to constantly scan the horizon looking for the absolute best and most cost effective products to complement and maximize their Client`s graffiti control efforts.
